Contributed financially for the completion of the Gaddafi National Mosque in Kampala. Col. Gaddafi officiated at the inauguration of this Mosque which took place alongside the Afro-Arab Youth Festival early this year
Annual scholarships granted through the Islamic Call Society to Ugandan students to undertake under- and post- graduate courses in Libyan universities
Financial support given to FUFA under the football fraternity existing between the football governing authorities of the two countries
Libya cancelled US$ 89million out of US$ 183.9 debt owed by Uganda. The balance of US$95 million has been re-invested in Uganda
