Libyan owned, House of Dawda is one of the largest biscuit, confectionery and fruit juice manufacturing companies in East Africa. The company produces 33 varieties of Britania biscuits; 34 varieties of confectionery; 9 varieties of Splash pure fruit juices; 7 varieties of Sun Sip artificial drinks, 5 varieties of sauces and recently starting producing mineral drinking water.  Libya has invested US$7.5 million in the company.
